Love Story
Life is all about finding enjoyment and actually "LIVING"! Sometimes, it's also about writing your own story. Taking chances on love and falling hard. When you're happy, it shows and you shine bright.
Colleen has had me on retainer for close to two years now. This December (2022), she gets to have the wedding of her dream with the man of her dreams, Luke. I am so excited to finally get to document all of it!
We took their engagement photos at City Park, this past April. It wasn't too hot and I even brought along a few things to stage a picnic. My friend, Rebecca (owner of Will'Yums Sweets & Treats), made a cute little dessert tray. Luke and Colleen enjoyed the mock Popeye's sweets! (I did too...)
Many of my props are from the various Estate Sale hunts that I occasionally like to stake out. I laid down a vintage blanket from 1959, that had been encased inside of a dry cleaning bag for over 40 years. Still smelled fresh, so that speaks volumes of the dry cleaners the last owner took it to. (Kean's in Baton Rouge- if you were curious.)
