An adventure...

New Orleans City Park is massive and quite easily one of my favorite places to visit. The Botanical Gardens are so beautiful and have been around since the 1930s. One thing I love the most inside of the gardens is the Japanese Garden. It is so tranquil and peaceful and I definitely feel as though I'm in another place every time I visit. Amanda brought her husband to be- Jared- for his first visit to New Orleans. What better introduction than the beautiful gardens at City Park.

We started in the Japanese Gardens and ended up at the Conservatory of the Two Sisters. These two looked so natural and loving in one of New Orlean's most romantic settings. You can't beat the morning light, swaying mossy oaks, and budding orchids.
